The perfect example of the subscription model gone nuts. These noise generators want you to pay every month to be able to listen to the one audio clip you would use, looped. That is an insane thing to expect people to pay every month for. And then they don't even play through the night without stopping. They are supposed to help you sleep and instead wake you up through the night, fulfilling the exact opposite of their only purpose.

I would give it 5 stars, but like it does with some other people, it will shut off abruptly sometimes and wake me up. Unfortunately, it tends to always seem to happen at the worst times. I have slept through it shutting off also though, but I usually don't. It shut off on me a couple of times lately and I can't keep having it shut off on me if it wakes me. Edit: I changed the settings months ago, woke me up today for the 20th time. You guys just can't just fix this, huh? Had to take a star off

Changed to the sleep sounds app now. better. this one intentionally cuts off at 6am when I set it at 1am. it's made me absolutely exhausted. blasts you with Loud Chinese temu ads about divorce. better free apps out there. I'm over it.

I wish I could give it more stars. I like that the audio library is so huge and that they are all seamless, and that you can set how long you want it to play for. I cannot sleep to any of the audio though. They are all poorly compressed with prominent distracting audio artifacts that I start listening to rather that sleeping.

Just right for my needs. Simple, easy to use, basics. You can start and stop any sound within the app, or turn it off by quitting the app. Either way functions well. I have been using it at night and has helped me sleep better. Sound can keep going while I do other things on my phone while getting settled in. It has several nice options, but I just use the basic brown noise option.

Updating my low review due to improvements. I use this app every night and love that i can create different mixes. I paid for the subscription because I love it. And I tried so many different apps because of my tinnitus. The only issue is that is does just shut off occasionally during the night which wakes me up, but this still has the best mixes of different sounds so I am keeping it. And my only wish is that it wouldn't limit the number of mixes I can make or limit the number of sounds per mix.

Good app, but does not have a whole lot of options unless you pay. However, the sounds that ARE free are relatively good, with the exception of white noise and any other color noise (just sounds like a high pitched noise, not good). I would recommend the Air Conditioner sound, it sounds the best, and is not overly distracting.

Absolutely amazing app! I absolutely cannot go to bed without some sort of background noise or I most likely will not end up sleeping whatever. I've spent many nights doing laundry that was already clean 😂 losing my mind. I used to use YouTube and that seemed to be good and everything but I noticed that it used literally an entire full battery in just the amount of hours of an okay nights sleep! That was super annoying. When I found this app I was so relieved! The choices are endless! Def. Dwnl

Has some interesting sounds like the Fizz, but most of them are only available for a 20€ per year subscription, which I find overpriced. The sounds quality is good. The interface is functional, if not a joy to look at. Works fine offline and in the background, even with the app closed. I'm still debating whether I want to keep it for the free sounds even with having to scroll through all the locked ones. (As I'm not willing to spend 20€ a year on an ambient sound app.)

I love this app, especially the color noises. I've tried rain, thunder and lightning for my tinnitus. Nothing worked until I tried your white and brown noise. The moment I turned them on, I couldn't hear the buzzing in my head, and when I turned it off, it still wasn't buzzing! It came back a little bit later, but wasn't as strong as before. I tried several other apps and their white noise was just like a loud hum. I couldn't even find anything on YouTube. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Could be so much more. App has great white noise sounds that are free. Can run them on loop. However the only way to turn off ads is Subscription (not 1 time) or to turn on airplane mode. So unless you want it running up your data or constantly checking in your WiFi you have to repeat pay or airplane mode. Again, great choice of sounds; bad prices. Suggest download free sounds on your favourite music streaming app and add them to a playlist. No ads No $$ No disappointment.
